Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters - Buddy Brigade

The Buddy Brigade is an all volunteer pet therapy program at a large, multi-site children’s hospital. They have 50 volunteers who make 3,000 visits each year to children. The dogs help the kids conquer fear and feel more at home in a scary environment. Our grant will fund expenses for this broad reaching program, including the Buddy Brigade Trading cards, a series of trading cards featuring all the dogs in the system, which are a huge hit with kids in long term care.
